Dr. V.K. Paul was the member of the national design team of RCH-II and led formulation of strategies for maternal, newborn and child health. He developed the relevant technical MNCH components of the national Programme Implementation Plans (PIPs) and assisted state governments in developing respective PIPs. He is working closely with the Ministry to develop the Child Health Strategy in RCH-II.

Dr VK Paul is providing technical support to the Ministry on training of the Accredited Social Health Activists ( ASHA ).
