Satellite Neonatal Ventilation Workshops (Calendar for the year 2009)

Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology in collaboration with the local state chapters of NNF or IAP is organizing these workshop in various parts of India, Febl-Hyderabad, May- Chandigarh , September- Cochi and December-Aurangabad. The workshops will be conducted by eminent faculty from AIIMS, New Delhi; P.G.I., Chandigarh; Govt Medical College Chandigarh, KEM – Mumbai; KEM – Pune; KIMS-Trivandrum; Niloufer Hospital – Hyderabad; Arpan Hospital – Ahmedabad; St Johns Medical College, Narayana Hridalaya & Manipal Hospital – Bangalore and others. The Workshops will focus on practical aspects of assisted ventilation of newborn infants. The format of workshop will be skill-oriented and emphasis on group work in tutorials and on problem solving. Registration fees for the course is Rs. 5000/- to be paid to the site co-ordinator. The number of participants will be restricted to 50, on the ‘first come, first served basis’.
